Set on a hillock, this temple is famous for its unique offering: devotees pour "panakam" (a jaggery and water drink) into the mouth of the half-visible Narasimha idol carved into the rock, and the deity is said to partake of a portion of it, however much is offered, without ever overflowing.
కొండపైన ఉన్న ఈ ఆలయం ప్రత్యేకమైన నైవేద్యానికి ప్రసిద్ధి. బండలో సగం కనిపించే నరసింహస్వామి నోటిలో భక్తులు పానకం పోస్తే, ఎంత పోసినా స్వామివారు కొంత మేరకే స్వీకరించి, మిగిలింది తిరిగి బయటకు వస్తుందని నమ్మకం.
