Unnachōnē Mūḍu Lōkālūhiṃchi Chūchitē Nīvē
Pallavi:
Unnachōnē mūḍu lōkālūhiṃchi chūchitē nīvē |
Kannachōṭanē vedaki kānaḍiṃtē kāka ||
O Lord! If one reflects deeply, You are the three worlds within the very place one stands. Man searches for You everywhere else but fails to find You right where he is.
Charanam 1:
Yekkaḍa voyyeḍi jīvuḍēdi vaikuṃṭhamu |
Yikkaḍa Hari yunnāḍu hṛdayamaṃde |
Mukkuna nūrupu mōchi muṃchi puṇyapāpāla_
Kakkasāna jikki tammu gāna ḍiṃtē kāka //Unna//
Meaning: Where does this soul go? Where is Vaikuntam? Lord Hari is right here within the heart. Carrying the burden of breath and trapped in the struggle of virtues and sins, man fails to recognize himself and the God within.
Charanam 2:
Yēmi vichāriṃchī dēhi yeṃdu dēvuni vedakī |
Kāmiṃchi yāta ḍinniṭā galiguṃḍagā |
Dōmaṭi saṃsārapudoṃtikarmamula jikki |
Kāmukuḍai kiṃdumīdu gāna ḍiṃtē kāka //Unna//
Meaning: What does the mortal ponder, and where does he search for God? While He exists everywhere and in everything, man is entangled in the pile of worldly karmas and desires, unable to see the truth right before him.
Charanam 3:
Yēvidhulu tā jēsī yevvari nāḍagabōyī |
Śrīvēṃkaṭēśvarusēva chētanuḍagā |
Bhāva mātaḍugānu bratike nidavō nēḍu |
Kāvarāna ninnāḷḷu kāna ḍiṃtē kāka //Unna//
Meaning: No matter what rituals one performs or whom one blames, it is the service to Lord Venkateswara that truly awakens the soul. Today, the one whose thoughts are filled with Him lives truly. It was only the veil of ignorance that prevented me from seeing You all these days.
